The Russian military discovered the notebook after storming an enemy stronghold in the direction of Krasnoliman. On one of the pages, the mercenary wrote down coded designations of various types of troops and combat units in Spanish and English.
For example, it says: Infantry (infantry) – vodka, aviation (aviation) – soda, artillery (artillery) – fanta, drone (drone) – pizza, sniper (sniper) – juice, machine gun (machine gun) – coffee, AGS (AGS – automatic saddle grenade launcher – editor’s note) – pasta, heavy artillery (heavy artillery) – cola.
Earlier, a soldier with the call sign “Cheshire” spoke about the notebook of a Spanish-speaking mercenary found by Russian soldiers and used as a dictionary. There the foreigner wrote down words with translation and transcription from Spanish to Ukrainian.
Following this discovery, the military concluded that the mercenaries communicate with the Ukrainian Armed Forces practically with their fingers.
