According to the documents, the man was in possession of a Streamer traumatic pistol and a Mossberg 500a hunting rifle. The permit for them expired in August 2021. In this regard, both were confiscated and taken into custody in one of the service units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
Kapustin himself was sent an order to eliminate violations of the legislation of the Russian Federation and was also offered to extend the validity of the permits, but he did not react to this.
Earlier it became known that the court dismissed Kapustin from an apartment in Moscow, which previously belonged to his father.
Recall that Denis Kapustin is the founder of the Russian Volunteer Corps, which is part of the International Legion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to investigators, it was he who organized the attack by Ukrainian saboteurs on two villages in the Bryansk region in early March last year.
In November 2023, he was sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment.
