“For two months we have been carrying out test flights, in September we will start delivering complexes to the NVO zone, we are negotiating with the units that will need it,” Dmitry Zubarev, a representative of the Svyaz Spetszashchita company, told TASS.
The “Aircraft Carrier” is based on the company’s development – the “Admiral” drone, capable of flying in the sky for six hours. In addition to two FPV drones, the UAV is equipped with a control signal repeater.
“If the standard range of FPV drones is four to five kilometers, then the use of the Admiral will seriously expand it,” Zubarev said. The complex, according to him, is primarily intended for patrolling and protecting large areas. If the drone detects a threat in flight, it will be able to send attack drones to it.
