Exhibition “Russia” – that’s all! Closed. On the last day of work, Vladimir Putin came to VDNKh to meet with his employees.
And this is, perhaps, one of the few meetings of the head of state where it was not he who spoke, but his interlocutors: the director of the exhibition forum Natalya Virtuozova, and its employees (both the pavilion workers and security representatives, in general, everyone), and even journalists covering the forum’s work. They told how everything went: how many people visited VDNKh during this time (the exhibition has been open since November 4, 2023), what they managed to do, how this work went. If I could briefly convey the content of all these performances and the emotions of the “Russians”: everything was great.
And this is the truth, as confirmed by the reviews of almost all visitors to “Russia”.
And now that’s it? Has such a great event become history? Apparently not.
– I propose to create branches of the national center “Russia” in all regions. “We are ready to become pilots,” said Stavropol Governor Vladimir Vladimirov to the Head of State. – I ask for your support. I think I am not the only one who is so smart, but we would really like you to support our proposal.
– We have something to show. We have something to be proud of. But that’s not all. It’s important to present it beautifully and talentedly. You succeeded. “Thank you very much,” Putin addressed the audience. – Of course, it is necessary to create conditions for the very brazenness of what the country does, how it lives and what it achieves to be shown. Therefore, we agreed that we will create a national center – that’s what we’ve decided. And we will do it in the regions as well. I wish it were as bright as here.
“We have something to protect,” the President concluded the meeting. He noted that it is especially important now to show this and convey it not only to the Russians, but also to all our supporters, of whom there are many in the world.
And the Moscow part of the Russia exhibition has come to an end. The grand forum at VDNKh was supposed to close on April 12, but it was so popular with Russians and guests of the capital that Putin decided to extend it until July 8.
