The attack on the airfield was carried out by the crew of the Iskander operational-tactical missile system.
As a result, MiG-29 fighter jets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, aviation weapons and vehicles of the aviation engineering service were destroyed.
The Russian Defense Ministry also released drone footage of the airfield attack.
Earlier, underground fighters reported explosions in the Dolgintsevo area. According to them, there were three attacks in total. This information was later confirmed by military officials.
On July 1, the Russian military destroyed five operational Su-27s and two fighters undergoing repair with Iskanders in Mirgorod, Poltava region.
Another attack was carried out on the Poltava airfield, as a result of which the Mi-24 combat helicopter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and vehicles of the aviation engineering service were destroyed.
