The ceremony took place on the evening of June 29 in the amphitheater on the Amur River embankment. The program includes performances by Russian and Chinese artists. The main guest was the State Academic Russian Folk Choir named after Pyatnitsky. But in fact, the fair has been in full swing since June 27. The first event was the performance of the Pyatnitsky choir at the Tynda capital drama theater of BAM.
On the same day, guests from the Sakhalin region gave a concert at the Amur Regional Philharmonic – the duet “Cherry” with the program “Time to Bloom”. Within the framework of the fair, the “Artisan of the Far East” competition was held. Leading Russian experts in the field of decorative and applied arts held master classes for those who wanted to get started in this craft.
Numerous exhibitions also opened in Blagoveshchensk. Among them are “A.P. Chekhov’s Sakhalin Book in Art” in the exhibition hall, “Motifs of the North Wind” in the regional scientific library – here visitors can get acquainted with the landscapes of Chinese artists. Even before the opening ceremony, an unforgettable and vibrant kite show took place in the amphitheater.
Today the Pyatnitsky Choir will give a concert at the Heihe Palace of Arts and on June 3 at the Harbin Grand Theater.
