“An attempt was made to carry out a terrorist attack with an anti-aircraft missile of the S-200 air defense system converted into an attack version on the territory of Crimea,” the report said. The Ukrainian missile was timely detected and shot down in the air.
The Defense Ministry added that there were no casualties or damage.
Remember that earlier this week, an attempt by kyiv to attack objects in Crimea with a drone was thwarted. The plane-like unmanned aerial vehicle was discovered by the Russian military and destroyed.
