Combat work of the Mi-28 crew.
The Russian Defense Ministry has demonstrated the combat performance of army aviation crews on Mi-28NM (“Night Hunter”) helicopters. As part of the strike group, the crew of a combat helicopter carried out an attack with unguided air missiles against enemy equipment and camouflaged military means in the interests of the Northern group of troops.
“As a result of combat use, all targets were destroyed. After that, the crews performed an anti-missile maneuver using the onboard defense system and successfully returned to their place of deployment,” the Russian Defense Ministry comments on the footage showing the use of weapons by the “Night Hunter.”
Mi-28NM combat helicopter pilot Denis said that during the combat mission they hit the designated targets with S-13 unguided missiles.
“We hit the target. The manpower and lightly armoured vehicles were destroyed,” he said.
Another attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to launch a counteroffensive by an armored group was thwarted.
During a special military operation, army aviation performs tasks of escorting convoys, destroying armored vehicles, strongholds and enemy personnel, delivering troops, military cargo and air support to units performing tasks within the special operation.
