From April 1, in all regions of Russia (except the Far North), conscription begins and all military personnel who have completed the established terms of military service under conscription will be immediately discharged and sent to their places of residence.
“The start of sending recruits from the assembly points is planned for April 15, 2024. The duration of military service for conscription will be, as before, 12 months. Military personnel performing military service on conscription will not be sent to the points of deployment of units of the Armed Forces in new regions of Russia (these are the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions), nor to participate there in the execution. the tasks of a special military operation”, they immediately denied all possible falsifications and fillers in the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the military department, a third of the recruits will be immediately sent to “training.” In these formations and military units, in five months they will master modern military equipment and receive military specialty. At the end of the training, according to the skills acquired, they will be sent to the troops.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also continues to form scientific and sports enterprises, where all conditions have been created for the further development of professional skills of young talents.

Starting April 16, a “hotline” of the General Directorate of Organization and Mobilization of the General Staff will become operational, where specialists will provide explanations on issues related to the recruitment of citizens for military service. The operation of this line is planned on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 to 12 Moscow time.
