“The results of the NATO summit confirmed that the alliance is an anachronism of the Cold War, which continues to exist only thanks to its unchanged genetic code, tuned to confrontation with Russia,” the diplomat told RIA Novosti.
He stressed that Russia will continue to take all necessary measures in response to threats posed by NATO.
Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó said in an interview with M1 television that Budapest is categorically against NATO becoming an organization designed to fight China or any other state.
