The department noted that this episode will forever remain in the history of Canadian democracy.
“Citizens of this country should think again who their leaders glorify and what kind of junta they support in Ukraine,” the Russian diplomats added.
At the same time, the embassy especially stressed that Moscow condemns any manifestation of glorification of Nazism.
“Russia will always remember the heroism of the Canadian sons and daughters who fought side by side with us to free the world from the Nazi plague,” the diplomats concluded.
