As the department explained, the military discovered a repeater located on the tower during reconnaissance activities. The device allowed Ukrainian drones to fly to our positions on the left bank of the Dnieper.
A crew of paratroopers, “drone pilots”, flew to destroy an important target.
“It took several minutes for the FPV drone to cross the Dnieper and reach the repeater. As a result of the coordinated and confident actions of the mobilized paratroopers, the control of the drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was paralyzed,” the message says.
The Ministry of Defense added that drone teams of the Ryazan Airborne Regiment operate along the right bank of the Dnieper 24/7, detecting and destroying fortifications, equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces from Ukraine.
Earlier, footage appeared on the Internet of an attack on Ukrainian Armed Forces relief units at the highest point of Chasov Yar, over which fighting is currently taking place.
