The Miss Moscow pageant ended in a minor scandal. One of the winners had her crown taken away from her on stage in front of everyone. The organizers said the incident was caused by a mix-up of names.
It all happened during the award ceremony for the winners of the Miss Moscow contest, which took place at the VDNKh. Initially, the crown and ribbon “Grand Prix of Beauty of Moscow” were awarded to Snezhana Nedilskaya. But just a few minutes later, the presenter said that in fact the title went to a completely different girl.

The situation confused not only the contestants, but also the host of the ceremony, who was sincerely puzzled. “This is a serious moment, there are unforeseen situations, no one is ready for this. Girls have to meet each other halfway. This happens… So, the “Grand Prix of Beauty of Moscow” goes to Snezhana Vilkova,” came the shout from the stage.
As the organizers had stated, the dark-haired Nedilskaya was supposed to hand over the crown to the beautiful Snezhana Vilkova. The presenters asked Nedilskaya to return the crown to its rightful owner, but she refused to part with the honorary trophy and did not even move.
In order to smooth things over, the general director of the Miss Moscow and Beauty of Russia contests, Tatyana Andreeva-Falk, was forced to go on stage and, apologising, said that it was not surprising that they were confused. In fact, there are as many as three Snezhanas among the contestants: “We have three Snezhanas: Snezhana Vilkova is the Beauty of Moscow, and Snezhana Nedilskaya is the Miss Perfection,” said the general director of Miss Moscow and Beauty of Russia,” replies Tatyana Andreeva-Falk.
Nedilskaya later commented on the incident, emphasizing that she was happy with everything: “Kits, I wanted my crown, I got it! I am so happy! Today was a wonderful day, I am so tired that I don’t even have it on! I know what to tell you.”
By the way, the public also had questions about the owner of the title “Miss Moscow”. It was 20-year-old Liliana Bulatova who was immediately accused of plastic surgery. And people were also surprised that the girl had not received a higher education.
