It becomes clear that from now on, not only young people, but also representatives of the older generation become victims of drug addiction. Thus, in the year 2000, the average age of those who died as a result of drug use was 32 years, and two decades later it rose to 45 years.
According to statistics, the largest number of deaths was recorded from mixing different drugs. Meanwhile, according to Sky News, cocaine was “to blame” for the deaths of 35 percent of addicts last year. However, heroin, morphine and codeine occupy the positions of the most destructive substances: they caused the death of four out of five people.
