According to the press service of the Federal Security Service of the Sverdlovsk region, these practical exercises are held to practice joint actions of various departments.
“The exercise scenario is always modeled based on what is happening in the country,” the department noted. “At the same time, the combatants do not know the details of the exercise scenario in advance and make decisions based on the situation that develops.”
The aim of the exercise was to suppress terrorist attacks, eliminate and minimize their consequences on penal system facilities and social infrastructure.
