Star parents also became the heroes of the documentary “Follow the Father”, which was shown last week at the Financial University of the Government of the Russian Federation in Moscow, and today at the presentation of the project at the AiF press center . Its viewers were journalists, project participants, students and Moscow schoolchildren.
“Although in our society the family remains one of the main human values, there is a certain prejudice that we always glorify the woman-mother, and even state payments for the birth of a child, which are given to the entire family. , they are called maternity capital and for some reason the father remains in the shadows,” said Marina Mishunkina, first deputy general director of the publishing house, during the presentation of the project at the Argumenty i Fakty press center. Why do modern parents sometimes stop feeling responsible for the family and some young people do not strive at all to have children? What to do with those men? The project was supported by the Internet Development Institute (IRI), ANO “National Priorities” and the Parents’ Union.
Sofia Malyavina, general director of ANO National Priorities, cited data from a sociological survey. “In Russia, the image of the father is quite strong and stable: 71% of respondents stated that the father participated in their education. In the group of respondents with higher education and satisfied with their financial situation, the figure is even higher: Approximately 80% of the qualities that parents formed in them, respondents mentioned courage, discipline, responsibility, honesty, precision and the ability to stand up for themselves! The headliner of the project, sharing his attitude towards the “most beautiful daughter”, 10-year-old Varvara, was the singer SHAMAN (Yaroslav Dronov).
The film presents his new song “Father”, which he performed for the first time during a concert on Red Square with the 12-year-old son of a soldier who died in the Northern Military District. And this song, as well as the fate of the child, complements the film with an important aspect: one wonders how many parents are fighting on the front lines today so that their children have a bright future.
“We met Egor on May 9 during the recording of a television show,” recalls the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, singer SHAMAN. “His story moved me, I decided to help in some way. How can an artist help with just music? In the same studio I invited Egor to sing together a song about his father, something I didn’t have yet. He agreed and the song came out in just a month. We present it on August 22, Russian Flag Day! , in Red Square the audience received the song very warmly,” said SHAMAN. “Personally, my daughter is growing up. Unfortunately, due to the busy touring schedule, we rarely see each other, but every time we meet. a vacation for us. I have always tried to educate Varvara by my own example. In addition to his relationship with his daughter, the artist also talked about his father.
“My father gave me life, he once saved it for me. When I was 11 or 12, we went fishing with him, I must say he is an avid fisherman. He still goes to the river both in winter and summer. My father reacted immediately, he threw in his catch. rods, and, as if he were wearing high fishing boots, he swam to the rescue, the boots were dragged to the bottom, they had to be taken off, and this takes time and I drown in the water… Father yet. “I made it, otherwise I wouldn’t be talking to you here.”
The interpreter also said that he was now able to help his father, who was also a musician, but with age he was forced to give up what he loved.
“My father was very worried about this matter, although he tried not to show it. He worked as a security guard at a car wash. I invited him to participate in my concerts. Dad refused at first, but I finally convinced him. A year and a half or two ago , he and I first played at a concert, at which the song “I am Russian” was first presented to the public.
