The author of the hit “September 3” Mikhail Shufutinsky was a guest on rapper Basta’s show called “A Question Pointedly.” At Vasily Vakulenko’s restaurant, the singer talked about the beginning of a relationship with his new wife, 25 years his junior, about how he skipped dates with Alla Pugacheva and boasted that he was a great-grandfather for the first time.

At the end of August, the press reported that the singer had once again raised his fee for performances by 500 thousand rubles before September 3. At the fair, the artist admitted that he saw nothing wrong with this and, in general, expected his fee to rise further.
“If I raised the price just once a year, on September 3, I would have starved to death long ago. Who can tell me anything that has become cheaper over the past year? What is cheaper? Nothing, right? If everything goes up and we artists just sit there without raising prices, it turns out that we automatically go down. Have we started to perform worse? I think this is quite natural. If we didn’t deserve it, our prices wouldn’t be raised. People decide this. It’s a pity that it’s only half a million,” Shufutinsky said.

About fights and weapons.
One of the guests of “The Question On Purpose” asked Mikhail Zakharovich if he had ever carried a gun with him, given his gangster appearance.
“In fact, when it comes to intelligence, appearance does not always correspond to a person’s intelligence. I carried weapons, yes, in different years of my life I carried them myself. For example, I spent some time in Magadan and played in a restaurant. It was 72-73,” Shufutinsky began his story.
That restaurant was located near a park where there were many homeless people. The artists did not want to miss it, so they went straight there.
“So we sewed an elastic band inside the coat and put a hammer in there. Why a hammer? Because if you carried a gun or a knife, you could get arrested. So you can say you’re renovating your house,” the singer admitted.
At the same time, it was not necessary to use a hammer in fights, although Shufutinsky often had conflicts that were resolved with fists. Over time, the artist moved away from this and even asked his driver not to carry a gun with him anymore, because he considered it useless.
About Pugacheva’s short skirts
Shufutinsky also talked about how he played hooky with Alla Pugacheva. The artist recalled that before entering music school there was a face check, which they often failed, which made them happy.
“Alla always wore incredibly short skirts, had long red hair and dressed very boldly. Imagine, I had curly hair, hair, but no beard, and I also dressed quite fashionably. There was also a group of guys. Alla’s apartment was nearby. We went there and… Wine, cinema and dominoes. They visited me at home, but the road was long and my grandmother was very strict. She asked: “What kind of skirts are these? All of her legs are visible!” And I replied: “Grandma, what legs!” – recalled Shufutinsky, adding that he and Pugacheva studied well and were no more absent than the others.

About a love story with a new wife.
73-year-old Mikhail Zakharovich told the story of his meeting with his current wife. He married his ballet dancer Svetlana last year, despite the 25-year age difference. It turns out that he courted her for a long time, but she did not reciprocate his feelings. Shufutinsky’s clumsiness and habit of constantly falling helped.
“One day, after a concert in Yekaterinburg, I was climbing the stairs. And through the other door came girls (dancers from his ballet – Author). The girls were like a flock of birds. I am a grandfather. I think they fly away at six in the morning. I turned around, stepped on the next step, tripped and from there rolled straight into the car where they were supposed to put me. Svetka was the first to run and start helping me. Since then I realized that I could not live without this woman,” said the chansonnier.
On the birth of a great-grandson.
Shufutinsky also shared some good news. It turns out that he recently became a great-grandfather.
“Literally at the beginning of August my great-granddaughter was born, can you imagine?” Mikhail Zakharovich boasted.
