The event to reactivate the former Mazda plant was attended by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, and the chairman of the board of directors of Sollers, Adil Shirinov.
The start of sales of the Sollers ST6 pickup truck is scheduled for October. There is a discount for residents of the Far East. The Sollers press service added that prices for the gasoline version of the model start at 2.4 million rubles, for the version with a diesel engine – from 2.5 million rubles.
The model is available to order in Base and Comfort trim levels and in six colors. The standard version includes a multifunction steering wheel, air conditioning, cruise control, trip computer, audio system, as well as heated front seats and rear parking sensors.
After the start of production, Denis Manturov tested the Sollers ST6 and called the station wagon “a good utility car.”
“Together with the UAZ Patriot, the demand for this modification, which is similar, will have a good market share and, most importantly, it will be produced here in Vladivostok, and thus will cover the perimeter of the Far Eastern region, so as not to be swept across the country,” Manturov said.
ST6 is a frame pickup truck with a length of 5325 mm and a wheelbase of 3090 mm. In Russia, the model is offered with a 136 hp turbodiesel. and a 177 HP gasoline engine, both coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The propulsion is a wired all-wheel drive.
