Stamps for postal circulation will be issued with portraits of six military composers – Rodina

On July 2, six stamps dedicated to military composers Vasily Ivanovich Agapkin, Alexander Vasilyevich Alexandrov, Mark Grigorievich Fradkin, Valery Mikhailovich Khalilov, Semyon Aleksandrovich Chernetsky and Ilya Alekseevich Shatrov will be put into postal circulation. Vasily Ivanovich Agapkin (1884-1964) – Russian composer, musician, military conductor, colonel. The postage stamp depicts a portrait of V.I. Agapkin against the background of the cover of the book and the score of the march “Farewell to the Slavs”.

Valery Mikhailovich Khalilov (1952-2016) – Soviet and Russian conductor and composer.
