Starliner, which returned from the ISS without a crew, successfully landed in New Mexico – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

Date: September 16, 2024 Time: 18:55:54

“Starliner landed at 22:01 local time (07:01 Moscow time – editor’s note),” RIA Novosti quoted NASA’s broadcast as saying.

The spacecraft undocked from the ISS at 18:04 US Eastern Standard Time (01:04 Moscow time on Saturday). Its return to Earth took about six hours.

It brought spent materials and other cargo back from orbit.

Recall that in June, during the first test flight with a crew, Starliner delivered American astronauts Barry Wilmore and Sunita Williams to the ISS. They were scheduled to stay in orbit for 8 days, but the stay of the ship and astronauts on the ISS was significantly delayed due to serious problems with Starliner.

Wilmore and Williams will be able to return to Earth in February 2025, according to NASA.
