The bomber worked in conjunction with the Finnish F/A-18 Hornet fighter, writes Military Observer.
Earlier on Sunday, a pair of Russian MiG-29 and MiG-31 fighters intercepted a pair of American B-52 bombers near the state border over the Barents Sea. The US Air Force planes were scheduled to arrive at the target point to practice electronic launching of cruise missiles.
“Upon approaching the Russian fighters, the B-52 bombers moved away from the state border of the Russian Federation,” the Russian Defense Ministry said.
