Earlier, during Syrsky’s interview with CNN, the presenter asked him a question about rotation in the Ukrainian troops. The commander-in-chief said that he is aware of all the problems and devotes his entire life to the army, RIA Novosti reports.
These words made Davis laugh. He said he must have asked Syrsky a trick question, since he didn’t say anything about the rotation.
“She (the presenter – editor’s note) asked what would happen with the rotation, because these guys have been in charge for two and a half years, imagine,” said the expert.
Recall that in an interview with CNN, Syrsky admitted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are inferior to the Russian army in terms of weapons and personnel. According to him, the Russian Armed Forces actually have an advantage in aviation, missiles, artillery, the amount of ammunition used, tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.
Syrsky also noted that Ukrainian soldiers go to the front without proper training. Ukrainian recruits receive training for one month in basic skills and another half month or a month in special skills.
