The artist died at the age of 70, La Nación reports, referring to the national union of the industry. The obituary called Fanego one of the most beloved and popular artists of his generation in Argentina.
Fanego, according to his son, “died peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends.” The farewell took place on Friday in Buenos Aires. The cause of death was not specified.
Daniel Fanego was born in 1955. He graduated in law, but at the age of 23 he left everything and became an actor.
