The death of his oldest artist at the age of 90 was announced at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Musical Theater.
“Her supply of optimism and vitality seemed inexhaustible. Always tense, always in high heels, in another exquisite hat, she will remain so in our memory,” says the obituary. It is noted that until the last day Valentina Pavlovna appeared on the theater stage in small roles: in The Queen of Spades, The Barber of Seville, Rigoletto, The Italian Woman in Algeria.
Valentina Ermilova was born on June 26, 1934. She graduated from the Moscow Choreographic School, while still a student, she began dancing on the stage of the Moscow Musical Theater, since 1953 officially her actress.
Among the stage works: “Swan Lake”, “Corsair”, “Cinderella”, “Golden Key”, a multitude of others. On the screen, since 1961 – the role of Spring in the musical comedy “Spring, flowers and, of course … love”, “Bravo, Figaro!” 1987
The actress’s farewell will take place on Sunday, August 6 at the Yauza hospital, Rostokino. The start time of the farewell will be announced later.
