The results of the spring stage of the competition were summed up and the winners were determined at the AKI.lab. The Art Factory project helps developers, builders, hotel owners and other organisations to find new authors – artists, designers, architects and creative associations.
Among the winners were artists Kirill Alexandrov, Viktor Polyakov, Sergei Shekhovtsov, Andrei Lyublinsky, Ivan Kalinichev, Yulia Latysheva, Alena Kolman, DIMITRIEV&YANAK, Nikita Khodak, Sergei Ovseikin and others.
At the spring stage of the Art Factory, nine clients submitted applications for the creation of art objects with a total budget for their implementation of more than 75,000,000 rubles, participants prepared concepts in various media (sculpture, by the way, became the most popular) for 27 locations, and the number of submitted projects exceeded 250.
The expert board of the competition included Yulia Vasilenko, head of the department for special projects and programmes for supporting young artists at MMOMA, Anna Trapkova, general director of the Moscow Museum Association, Yulia Bychkova, managing partner of the Nikola-Lenivets Park and the Nikola-Lenivets Office, and Alexander Astakhov, curator of the project, art director and producer.
The winners of the MR Group premium real estate developer’s competition will receive special support: this winter, together with the GUM-Red-Line gallery and the GUM trading house, a sculpture exhibition will be organised on Red Square. The exhibition will open on 1 December this year and will last until next spring.
