The Russian Defense Ministry has shown footage of the combat work of the crew of the BM-21 Grad multiple launch missile system (MLRS) of the Center group of troops (GV Center) in the Avdeevsky direction of the special operation.

“After receiving information from the UAV crew about the identified location of a large number of personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the crew of the BM-21 Grad quickly arrived at the combat zone. The servicemen deployed the combat vehicle from the travel position to the combat position, aimed the device at the target and with a volley of 122 mm caliber rockets destroyed an enemy concentration at a distance of more than 15 kilometers,” the Russian Defense Ministry staff said.

With a precise strike, our artillerymen attacked the area where the personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were concentrated.

“We are waiting for the signal to work. We sit down and head to the firing position with the guys looking at the sky while we aim. We work out the target and leave. Right now, our attack aircraft are occupying forest areas and industrial zones, and we are advancing behind them,” says the deputy commander of a rocket artillery platoon with the call sign “Seventy-two.”

The military department noted that due to the high intensity of the enemy’s use of FPV reconnaissance and attack drones, soldiers have to change positions more frequently.

“The crew is armed with anti-drone and smoothbore cannons, which help repel attacks from enemy drones,” says the driver-loader with the call sign “Maloy.”

Massive artillery strikes by Grad MLRS teams on enemy concentration areas allow support for assault operations by units of the Central Group.
