On May 25, a party for the whole family “Green Sun” will be held in Izmailovsky Park, dedicated to Children’s Day. The organizer of the event is the Downside Up Foundation, which provides psychological, pedagogical and social assistance to families with children, adolescents and young people with Down syndrome.
Guests on the holiday will find a rich program where everyone will find something to their liking. Talented artists with Down syndrome will perform on stage, and an exhibition of paintings created by artists with mental disabilities, including Sergei Shestakov, whose works are filled with special warmth and sincerity, will shine in bright colors.
At the fair you can purchase unique souvenirs made by children in social workshops. And also games, competitions, a face painting area and, of course, the opportunity to learn more about how to support people with Down syndrome.
The event will take place simultaneously with the “Sport for Good” charity race, organized by the Love Syndrome Foundation, the main strategic partner of the Downside Up Foundation. This is one more reason to join a good cause.
