We continue to introduce the heroes of the special operation “Z”, participants in the fighting in Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and fulfilled combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Our heroes foiled attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not enough to praise. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

“For a Russian soldier, the way home is through Ishmael. There is no other way for a Russian soldier to leave!” warned Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. He was also sure that: “No nation gains as much as England from the continuation of the war…”

ENEMY DRONES FOUGHT

Private Evgeny Titko

“While in position and monitoring the situation, the commander of the assault squadron, Private Evgeniy Titko, saw how an enemy FPV drone hit a vehicle of the Russian Armed Forces that was transporting supplies to the positions of the attack aircraft.

Evgeniy moved quickly to assist the military personnel wounded by the drone attack. Upon reaching the post, Private Titko provided first aid to the victims, removed material from the burning vehicle and, calling for reinforcements, began evacuating the wounded to a shelter. While moving, Evgeniy spotted another drone approaching the evacuation group. Private Titko destroyed the enemy drone with accurate small arms fire and the group continued the evacuation.

After rescuing the wounded, the positions of the attack aircraft were attacked with artillery fire. Despite the ongoing shelling, Evgeniy Titko organized the withdrawal of the wounded from the enemy artillery attack zone, thereby saving their lives.

Evgeny Titko’s selfless and courageous actions prevented the deaths of Russian servicemen and the disruption of combat missions.”

WITH ONE SHOT HE DETERMINED THE OUTCOME OF THE BATTLE

Sergeant Major Dmitri Salamaja

“Sergeant Major Dmitry Salamakha, as part of the combat group, moved forward to carry out tasks in the designated area. The group’s vehicles, keeping their distance, quickly and secretly moved to the front line.

During the movement, the patrol leader engaged in combat with a group of militants who were preparing an ambush on the route of the Russian military. Senior Sergeant Salamakha decided to bypass the position of the enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group and attack from the flank. Dmitry and his group headed on foot to the designated area.

The enemy detected the movement of the battle group and began shelling. The group, led by Sergeant Salamahi, dispersed and continued to advance. Having quickly reached an advantageous firing position, Dmitry Salamakha destroyed a machine-gun team of Ukrainian saboteurs with an accurate shot from a grenade launcher. The rapidly approaching fighters of the group suppressed the enemy’s resistance with standard small arms fire and forced him to retreat with significant losses.

Dmitry then organized the provision of first aid to the wounded soldiers of the main patrol and evacuation to a safe area for medical care, and he himself, as part of the group, continued to carry out the combat mission.

Thanks to the courageous and decisive actions of Senior Sergeant Dmitry Salamakha, the enemy suffered significant losses in personnel, which allowed the group to seize an important position.”
