We continue to present the heroes of special operation “Z”, participants in military operations in the zone of special military operation. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not useful for praising. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

ENEMY DRONE DESTROYED

“Guard soldier Alexander Sakharovsky during a special military operation performed tasks of protecting artillery firing positions and supporting the assault units of the Russian troops.
While at the battery position, Alexander visually detected an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle moving in the direction of the gun crew.
After giving the signal that a drone was approaching, guard soldier Sakharovsky opened fire with small arms and hit the aerial target.
The gunners, quickly changing their positions, continued to attack enemy targets, which contributed to improving the position of our troops on the front line.
Thanks to the vigilance, as well as the quick decisions of the guard soldier Alexander Sakharovsky, it was possible to save the lives of the crew, as well as continue to carry out fire missions to support the assault units.”
HE DELIVERED A PREMEDIATE BLOW TO THE ENEMY

The group commander of the BARS-21 detachment, together with his subordinates, moved to the zone of active military operations.
Moving through the area, the car in which Alexey and the group were found was blown up by an enemy mine, as a result of which it was damaged and caught fire. Instantly assessing the situation, Alexey, risking his life, evacuated the injured driver from the burning car, thus saving his life.
A few days later, Alexey Salamatin’s group was given the task of organizing defense in one of the enemy’s possible attack directions. Alexey competently built a fire fighting system taking into account the terrain and determined the firing sectors.
During the offensive, the enemy tried to covertly approach and attack Alexei Salamatin’s group from the flank.
Noticing the movement of Ukrainian militants, Alexei launched a pre-emptive strike on enemy assault groups that did not have time to occupy advantageous positions for the attack.
Being at the forefront of the attack, showing courage, Alexey led the group and inspired his subordinates to bold and decisive actions by his personal example.
Thanks to the courage and bravery of Alexei Salamatin, as well as the professionalism and courage of his subordinates, the enemy, despite its numerical superiority, could not break through the defenses of the Russian units and retreated.”
