We continue to introduce the heroes of the special operation “Z”, participants of military operations in the special military operation zone. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and fulfilled combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Our heroes foiled attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not enough to praise. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“The more comforts, the less courage,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who never lost a single battle. He also taught: “Speed is necessary, but haste is harmful.”

“The driver-mechanic of the motorized rifle division of the 20th Guards Combined Arms Army of the West Group of Forces, sailor Dmitry Tyurnin, was on a combat mission, under almost continuous artillery, mortar and small arms fire from the enemy, together with his group, approached the enemy’s fortified positions by car and transported Russian servicemen wounded during the battle from the line of combat contact to an intermediate point for the collection and evacuation of the wounded.
Acting boldly and decisively, Dmitry personally removed at least 20 servicemen from the battlefield.
Moving forward with the wounded in a car, Dmitry, skillfully maneuvering in a difficult area of the terrain, prevented enemy FPV drones from destroying enemy equipment and personnel.”

“The drone operator, Sergeant Dmitry Garifulin, conducted reconnaissance of the area using an unmanned aerial vehicle during a special military operation.
While carrying out his next task, Garifulin discovered a group of Ukrainian militants in a pickup truck in a forest belt, preparing for a surprise attack on the positions of Russian troops. Correctly assessing the situation and calculating possible options, Dmitry decided to immediately attack the enemy. To do this, he installed a grenade on the UAV and directed it towards the location of the enemy group. After dropping the ammunition, Garifulin was convinced that he had caused significant damage to enemy personnel and disabled the pickup truck. The surviving militants, wounded, retreated.
Thanks to the skillful and professional actions of Sergeant Dmitry Garifulin, the enemy was unable to carry out the plan of a surprise attack on the Russian positions and retreated.”
