We continue to introduce the heroes of the special operation “Z”, participants in military operations in the special military operation zone. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and fulfilled combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not good for praise. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“Brothers! Strike with a bayonet, stab with a butt! Don’t delay – move quickly! Go, salute! Shake your heads, go ahead, brothers! Miracle heroes, go ahead! We are Russians!” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he taught the warriors: “Be sharp-sighted and careful. Have a specific goal. Know how to prevent false and dubious circumstances, but do not get carried away by local fervour.”

Corporal Ignat Tolstikov
“Medic corporal Ignat Tolstikov, acting as part of a group of Russian military personnel, carried out the task of liberating one of the settlements controlled by Ukrainian militants.
Advancing along a certain route in a forest area, Ignat’s group was attacked by enemy mortars.
As a result of the shelling, one soldier was wounded by shrapnel. While under constant enemy fire, Ignat discovered a wounded soldier, provided him with first aid and dragged him to a natural depression in the ground, where he completed medical care and prepared the wounded man for evacuation. After waiting for the right moment, he was taken to the hospital. Thanks to the decisive action of the paramedic, the soldier’s life was saved.
Professionalism and the ability to quickly deal with the situation allowed Corporal Ignat Tolstikov to save the life of a fellow soldier.”
SHELLS DELIVERED UNDER ENEMY FIRE
Private Andrei Razzhivin
“In life-threatening conditions, the driver of a motorized rifle platoon, Private Andrei Razzhivin, carried out tasks of delivering material and technical equipment to Russian servicemen.
Ukrainian militants, in their desire to deprive Russian troops of a full and timely supply of military-technical equipment, attempted to destroy a convoy of Russian vehicles, in which soldier Andrei Razzhivin was, by attacking it with artillery rockets.
Andrei quickly found his bearings in the difficult situation, skillfully maneuvering and quickly getting his vehicle with ammunition out of the enemy fire to a safe place, preventing it from being hit by the enemy and detonating the ammunition. During the shelling, one of the servicemen was wounded by shrapnel. Seeing this, Private Razzhivin carried his wounded comrade to the shelter, provided him with first aid and handed him over to the medics for further evacuation to a medical facility.
Competent and professional actions of Private Andrei Razzhivin made it possible to preserve the life and health of the military personnel of the unit, preventing the detonation of ammunition, keeping the entrusted equipment and property in good working order and timely replenishment of the material reserves of Russian units.”
