Soldiers, sergeants, corporals, and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character, and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, in the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, receive the highest marks.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counter-offensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise and awards. The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“They do not take cities on their feet, they fight with skill, not with numbers, consent comes from skill,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he repeated: “One minute decides the outcome of the battle, one hour – the success of the campaign, one day – the fate of the empire.”

“Private Artur Zakaryaev, as part of a battalion tactical group of the Russian Armed Forces, carried out tasks to cover the state border. While serving at the observation post of a platoon stronghold, Zakaryaev discovered a group of UAVs approaching enemies. Instantly assessing the situation, Arthur informed the commander about the detected enemy air objects in the sky, after which he opened aimed fire with standard weapons at the drones. With Zakaryaev’s precise fire, the enemy’s loitering ammunition was hit and detonated in the air The professionalism and courage of Private Zakaryev prevented an enemy attack and did not allow to inflict damage on Russian troops in this direction.

“Lieutenant Artem Melekhin, acting together with the platoon entrusted to him, carried out the tasks of demining the infrastructure of one of the settlements. In life-threatening conditions, he carried out the tasks of detection, neutralization, and destruction of explosive devices installed by the enemy that represent a danger to the civilian population. In the course of conducting an engineering reconnaissance of urban buildings, Artem personally discovered and defused 21 explosive devices. In addition, an engineering platoon under the command of Melekhin conducted an engineering reconnaissance of the railway and the adjacent territories, as a result of which a concentrated charge weighing more than 300 kg was discovered, which was quickly neutralized and destroyed. In addition, the platoon forces cleared the main entrances to the settlement. With professional actions, as well as the competent leadership of his subordinates, Lieutenant Artem Melekhin ensured the safety of the Russian troops during the organization of the defense of the settlement.

Warrant Officer Anton Ryazanov
“The commander of the tank company of the Marines of the Pacific Fleet, Chief Warrant Officer Anton Ryazanov, acting as part of a battalion tactical group, fought to force the Ukrainian nationalists to abandon their positions. During the battle, Anton inflicted a fiery defeat on the enemy with accurate blows and, breaking through the line of defense, got into the enemy battle formations.
Advancing deeper into the enemy’s defenses, Ryazanov’s tank came under enemy fire from an ATGM, as a result of which the tank’s gun was damaged and stopped working. Moving away from the line of contact, Chief Foreman Ryazanov discovered an enemy infantry fighting vehicle firing at our troops, hampering the actions of Russian attack aircraft. Instantly assessing the situation, Ryazanov decided to ram. Having dispersed his tank, Anton at full speed crashed into the body of the enemy BPM and pushed him into a minefield laid by the enemy, after which he was blown up by mines and ammunition detonated inside. For courage and heroism displayed in the line of military duty during a special military operation, Chief Warrant Officer Anton Ryazanov was awarded two Orders of Courage.
