We continue to introduce the heroes of the special operation “Z”, participants in military operations in the special military operation zone. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and fulfilled combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not good for praise. The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“Be patient in military work, do not be discouraged by failures,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he taught warriors: “Speed and surprise replace numbers. Attacks and blows decide the battle!”
REVEALED THE MILITARY COUNTERATTACK

“The commander of the artillery gun, foreman 1st class Ilya Chernyavets, during a special military operation, carried out tasks to inflict fire damage on identified concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment.
Thus, while conducting reconnaissance from an unmanned aerial vehicle, Chernyavets discovered the movement of an infantry group of Ukrainian militants. In the shortest possible time, Ilya calculated the coordinates of the target, which he immediately transferred to the gun crew to inflict fire damage. As a result of the accurate fire, the enemy lost more than 15 people, as well as three pickup trucks with heavy machine guns.
In addition, artillerymen under the command of Ilya fired at the positions of Ukrainian troops to create favorable conditions for our units to carry out the offensive. A sudden counterattack by Ukrainian militants slowed down the advance of our forces, but the rapid discovery of the enemy’s location by Senior Sergeant of the 1st Article Chernyavets made it possible to timely transfer gun fire and neutralize the group.
Thanks to the timely and competent actions of Senior Sergeant of Article 1 Ilya Chernyavets, the counterattack of the Ukrainian militants was repulsed and the Russian troops completed their combat mission.”
HE COVERED THE WITHDRAWAL OF COMPANIONS
Private Alexei Zdorov
“Acting as part of a group of Russian servicemen, Private Alexei Zdorov covered the unit with machine-gun fire during the battle. The enemy, taking advantage of its numerical superiority, tried to surround the Russian military personnel.
To exclude the possibility of the group being surrounded, the commander decided to move the unit to a more advantageous position.
Retreating to new positions, Private Zdorov continued to cover the unit with fire. Having fired all the ammunition, Alexey took two machine guns captured from the enemy and continued to fight. Alexey, who was covering the unit’s retreat, was the last to leave the firing position.
By skillfully and competently changing firing positions, Private Alexey Zdorov prevented the group from being surrounded and losing personnel, and also inflicted significant losses on the enemy, forcing the enemy unit that had suffered losses to return to its original lines.”
