We continue to present the heroes of special operation “Z”, participants in the fighting in Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who demonstrated their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. His determination, assertiveness and combat experience are highly appreciated by the Russian Ministry of Defense and the police units of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.

Our heroes thwarted attacks and prevented nationalist counteroffensives, for which they received state awards. But they are not useful for praising.

The military is confident that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

“A fleeing enemy is destroyed only by pursuit,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he also taught: “Defeat the enemy, without sparing him or yourself, stay angry, fight to the death, he who spares the least wins.”

THE EQUIPMENT RETURNED TO OPERATION

Junior Sergeant Alexander LISITSKY

“The commander of the repair department, Junior Sergeant Alexander Lisitsky, carried out evacuation, restoration and repair of weapons tasks. During the execution of the tasks, Alexander also repeatedly evacuated various equipment abandoned by the enemy and Russian equipment that had been damaged during the fighting. While the crossing of the water barrier was being organized, a Russian tank bridge was damaged by artillery fire from the nationalists. Risking his life, Alexander advanced toward the disabled car. After assessing the damage, Alexander quickly repaired the damaged equipment directly on site. As a result of the repairs carried out quickly, the small engineering units easily completed the crossing, allowing the small motorized units to successfully cross the water barrier. Thanks to Lisitsky’s selfless actions, it was possible to avoid losses from artillery fire and the units were quickly redeployed to previously prepared defensive positions. In total, the department of Junior Sergeant Alexander Lisitsky, thanks to his honed skills and professionalism, quickly restored and put into service more than 20 units of special military equipment.

TOOK AND KEPT THE POINT

Sergeant Batraz GAZZAEV

“The deputy commander of the motorized rifle platoon, Sergeant Batraz Gazzaev, carried out combat missions to storm and destroy enemy strongholds, their long-range firing facilities, weapons and military equipment. After successful assault operations, Russian motorized rifles fought to occupy an important enemy stronghold.

Taking advantage of the terrain and the tactically advantageous position of the strongpoint, Gazzaev’s unit entrenched itself on the occupied line and organized a defense. Gazzaev, expecting a counterattack from Ukrainian militants, quickly and competently distributed firearms and personnel in dangerous directions. While on the front line, he quickly discovered the advancing enemy motorized infantry. During the battle, competently and skillfully directing the actions of his subordinates, analyzing the changing situation, Gazzaev and his staff limited the actions of the assault groups of militants, stopping their advance. With targeted small arms fire, a platoon of Russian motorized riflemen destroyed an armored vehicle and a pickup truck with five nationalists. Thanks to the courage and bravery of Sergeant Batraz Gazzaev and his subordinates, the occupied line was held, the Russian units improved the tactical position along the front line and the enemy suffered significant losses in manpower and equipment. .
