According to the latest LinkedIn ‘Booming Jobs’ study, both sustainability and AI are two of the axes on which the most in-demand jobs by companies pivot. Nevertheless, they are not the only ones. In this sense, although digitalization occupies a good part of the positions that Spanish companies are most looking for, the truth is that there are several roles that could be classified as more classic. Do you know what they are and how much is paid on average for them?
1. Security operations center (SOC) analyst – 26,000 euros per year
With the expansion of the Internet and the progressive digitization of all company information, in recent years a key figure for every organization has become popular (either as permanent staff or through subcontracting): the operations center analyst. security (also known as SOC). In essence, he is a cybersecurity specialist in charge of tracking and addressing cyber threats within an organization. And, according to Glasdoor, his average salary is currently 26,067 euros per year in Spain.
2. Software development analyst – 48,250 euros per year
The software development analyst is a profile that is increasingly in demand by companies, and which was previously known as a software engineer. Today, he supervises and develops the process of creating products or digital platforms, from initial testing to maintenance after launch. And, according to the latest Hays Salary Guide, his salary ranges between 37,250 euros (between two and five years of experience) and 48,250 euros on average for profiles with more than 10 years of experience.
3. Sustainability manager – 71,500 euros per year
Indeed, sustainability occupies a place on the podium of the most in-demand positions currently in Spain. And for two good reasons: the need to comply with increasingly demanding legislation on ESG and the profitability that is increasingly evident for companies that are decisively committed to sustainability. Perhaps for this reason, the position of Sustainability Manager or Manager currently pays an average of 71,500 euros per year, according to Glassdoor.
4. Key account sales manager – 57,000 euros per year
Despite what it may seem, sales continue to occupy a strategic place in every company. Especially if we talk about a Key Account Sales Manager, a position that is responsible for managing the company’s key accounts and which, logically, have a greater economic and business impact. For this reason, their average salary is 57,107 euros per year on average in Spain, according to Glassdoor. However, it must be taken into account that not all of this amount corresponds to the base salary, but rather around 10,000 euros per year represents the variable that is usually charged in this role.
5. Logistics expert – 52,500 euros per year
It is curious that logistics is one of the sectors in which the greatest salary increases will occur in 2023 (2%, according to Hays), because in both 2021 and 2022 it was one of those that lost the most (2% and 4 ). %, respectively). Perhaps it is due to the recovery of the sector after the paralysis of activity during the pandemic and due to the supply crisis of recent years. Be that as it may, the truth is that the logistics expert profile is one of the most in demand currently in Spain. Therefore, their salary is 36,000 euros on average for workers with less than five years of experience, and 52,500 euros for seniors with more than 10 years.
