New details have become known about the loud scandal that erupted after singer Mia Boyka performed in Nadym on the City Day, where the artist scolded a girl who was a quadrober (this is what children and teenagers who wear animal masks and learn to jump like themselves are called). While the artist herself makes caustic videos and makes money on hype, blogger Anya Enina took 9-year-old Marie-Anna (this is how her name is spelled) with her mother to Moscow to show them the capital and film an episode of her podcast “A Gentle Business”. A KP.RU correspondent contacted Enina, who shared her impressions of communication with Marie-Anna and her mother.
– Anya, why did you decide to invite the girl and her mother to Moscow?
“We were contacted by a good friend from a Telegram channel that publishes news about bloggers. The bloggers decided to send gifts to this girl, her name is Marie-Anna. Initially we planned to go with the team to Nadym, where the population is only 40 thousand people. We prepared the equipment and machinery and came to an agreement. And then they decided to invite her mother Elena to come to Moscow and see the city. Marie-Anna had never been to the capital and we wanted to please the girl. They agreed and said that they were very easy to climb. Tickets were bought, transfers were organized and accommodation was rented.
—Have you already walked around the city and shown the capital?
– Yesterday we met them, had a snack, walked a bit. Then we went to the shooting. Then they showed her the Red Square, Marie-Anna dreamed of seeing it with her own eyes. Today we are going to the water park, then we will go to Zaryadye park and take another walk.
— Is the girl feeling well overall?
“It’s hard for her to remember what happened.” When we interviewed her, she was crying. It was obvious that the child was nervous. For her, this situation, of course, was unpleasant. It was important for us to bring her and introduce her to bloggers. I don’t know if you’ve heard about my scandal with Black Star and the rock group “Three Days of Rain” or not. But our manager called Black Star and said: “Guys, fighting is fighting, but the girl really loves Yegor Ship and Klava Koku. Let’s introduce them to her! I don’t know yet what this will lead to, whether there will be a reunion or not, but we have received such an offer. They buried the hatchet to please the child.”
— When the news about Marie-Anna and her mother’s participation in your podcast appeared, there were comments that Elena herself was now creating a stir around the family. What do you think about this?
— Elena has five children, she is raising them alone. Now we are in the Year of the Family. Elena is a believer, she works, she doesn’t drink, and only her mother helps her. When a child is offended, especially in public, amid cries of “Ugh!” from the crowd… On September 1, the girl came to school, they started laughing at her, mocking her, bullying her, and filming her. Other students want to get their piece of glory studying with her. We wanted to avoid further bullying. We also saw a similar reaction in the comments under the posts announcing this interview. They wrote: “I showed sympathy, but now I understand that this is exaggeration.” But in fact, the story is much more interesting. The girl is 9 years old, and this is the second time she has run out on stage like this! Marie-Anna ran out to Yegor Ship’s concert and also said that she was lost. She came to Mia Boyka’s concert in a mask because there was a costume contest. There were a lot of children in masks. Her grandmother bought her these ears, Marie-Anna came with this costume to participate in the contest, but she was late. She climbed into the front row, her mother was behind. And then she went up on stage and said she was lost. Just to see her costume. Let me remind you that she is 9 years old. I cannot condemn the child for this act. I think that any person with normal self-esteem will agree that at 9 years old many did some things that were then cool and great. [а теперь нам за них неловко].

So she ran on stage and said that she was lost. Then the presenter sat down at the microphone and Mia said that she herself would announce that they were looking for her mother. Mia came out with the girl, but she started doing something else besides looking for the girl’s mother. There was a question: are you a cat or a dog? And the girl said that she was a cat, that she had cat ears. Then Mia says: “Are you a quadrober?” And asks how others feel about it. Mom is now outraged: “How do we feel about what? That my child was exposed to animals?
— So the girl is not actually a quadruple?
– She is a normal child. What is considered quadrobing? She does not go to school like this, does not eat cat food and does not attack anyone. The girl is developed and very intelligent. Her speech is well executed and her grandmother and mother read books with her. The child is given time. Well, I went out after school, put on a mask and played with the girls on the slides and swings. If this is now called quadrobing, then she is probably a quadrober.
— Did Mia herself try to contact the girl?
“My mom said yesterday that a representative of Mia Boyki called her and in an orderly tone began to demand that she “not inflate anything.” Then he asked Elena: “What, do you like all this?” She says: “No, let Mia apologize to my daughter because she feels bad.” The girl loved Mia. And suddenly your idol condemns you in front of everyone…
