The Russian Defense Ministry demonstrates the combat operation of the crews of the 152-mm Msta-B howitzers of the Dnieper troop group’s artillery paratroopers in the Kakhovka direction in the Kherson region. Russian paratrooper units continue to expel the enemy from the island zone of the Dnieper delta and destroy their units on the right bank of the river.
“A reconnaissance team with a drone discovered in the depths of the territory controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the right bank of the Dnieper a camouflaged Western-made weapon with a crew nearby. The received data was immediately transmitted to the artillery control post. After receiving data about the target, the artillery paratroopers took up a firing position, prepared a weapon for use – a 152-mm howitzer 2A65 “Msta-B” and with accurate shots inflicted fire on the enemy, disabling the enemy weapon and destroying its crew,” commented the combat work staff of “winged infantry” soldiers in the Russian Ministry of Defense.
At the end of the combat mission, the crews camouflaged the guns and retreated for cover.
There, the battery commander with the call sign “Thor” spoke about the combat work of his subordinates: “The enemy is trying to seize a bridgehead and cross the Dnieper, but we do not allow him to do so. “We suppressed enemy artillery, personnel and observation posts.”
Thanks to the decisiveness and coordination of actions, as well as the timely and uninterrupted supply of ammunition, artillery paratroopers fulfill any assigned combat mission.
“A good commander and competent instructors turned us into professional artillerymen in three months. Everyone knows their job, any number of crew can replace the loader,” says the platoon commander with the call sign “Pythagoras.”
