“A very serious warning… A delicate but strict warning that is not recommended to be ignored,” Ulyanov said.
Recall that Vladimir Putin previously said that the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance are now not only discussing whether to grant Kiev permission to use Western long-range weapons, but are actually deciding whether to directly get involved in the Ukrainian conflict.
As the President of the Russian Federation stressed, the direct involvement of the West in the events in Ukraine changes the essence of the issue and Russia will be forced to make decisions taking into account the threats created in this way.
The White House, meanwhile, did not comment on Putin’s statement. US administration spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said she would not address hypothetical issues.
