On Wednesday night, Joe Biden decided to address the nation from the Oval Office and explain his withdrawal from the election race in front of cameras. The White House released a video in which the American president, with a mask in his hand, boards a plane to fly from Delaware (where he was in quarantine due to coronavirus) to Washington. But the rumors about the critical condition of the American leader do not subside. The story of a journalist who was in Las Vegas added fuel to the fire when Biden canceled his speech there and urgently “evacuated” his house.
Daily Mail correspondent Emily Goodin lifted the veil of secrecy on the fateful day after which Biden’s race finally collapsed.

“US President Joe Biden has tested positive for coronavirus,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre wrote. She added that her boss has been “several times vaccinated” and has “mild symptoms.”
Biden canceled his appearance at the UnidosUS conference in Las Vegas and returned to Delaware, where he has a home. Jean-Pierre promises: Biden will isolate himself there and fully fulfill his duties.

But the head of the White House disappeared from public view, and a few days later he withdrew from the presidential race altogether…
MAINTAINED THROUGH THE KITCHEN
Presidential staff reporter Emily Goodin covered Biden’s visit to Las Vegas and admitted: The 81-year-old politician withered before our eyes, even though there were no initial signs of trouble.
“Before flying to Las Vegas, he spoke to reporters at Andrews Air Force Base and cheerfully answered questions about his security detail and JD Vance’s candidacy as Trump’s vice president,” says the Daily Mail correspondent. “But by midday it was a completely different story.”
The president’s speech in Las Vegas was delayed by about an hour, but Joe is usually late. Another thing was surprising: he quietly left the hotel room and just as quietly got into a limousine in the underground parking lot, staying out of sight of the press. And when he arrived at the building for a conference, Biden was not led through the front door, but through the back door off the kitchen.
Tensions rose as journalists began setting up their cameras, but security ordered them to be turned off. Eventually, Joe appeared before the reporters.
“He looked pale, weak, exhausted and could barely walk,” Goodin says. “I heard a murmur from behind: ‘He looks so bad.’”
Reporters were asked to leave the room as Biden was scheduled to give a 20-minute interview to a local radio station. But 20 minutes slowly turned into 30, then an hour, then an hour and a half. Neither the White House chief’s security guards nor his press service made any comments.
A little later, Karine Jean-Pierre would write the same statement about Biden’s sudden Covid. And while the journalists were reading the dry letter, the American president was again quietly bundled into a caravan of vehicles that, sirens and flashing lights, set off in an unknown direction. A moment later it became clear: the politician was being urgently taken to the airport.
Rapid evacuation
Pool reporters caught up with Biden as he, surrounded by six security guards, got out of the car and walked toward the plane. The American president climbed the stairs with difficulty.
“We were flying so fast that the plane was shaking,” Goodin adds. “When dinner was served, our tables vibrated. Water glasses rolled over them and carry-on luggage under the seats hit their legs. I felt the speed of the flight and felt sick.
According to the journalist, the Internet on board was turned off and no one was saying out loud what was happening. Instead of 4.5 hours, the flight reached a record 3 hours and 48 minutes. Getting off the plane, Joe “stared into space, pale and frail.” Only after the American leader’s security guard tapped him on the shoulder did the 81-year-old politician wave weakly and get into his SUV. After 72 hours, Biden withdrew from the US presidential election.
