The Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives has started accepting applications for a grant competition – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

Date: September 16, 2024 Time: 23:21:07

Applications are now accepted for project grants in the field of culture, arts and creative industries.

“Applications can be submitted until September 10 on the website fundculturalinitiatives.rf,” the message clarifies.

The total fund of the grant competition is 5 billion rubles.

Non-governmental NGOs, commercial and municipal organisations and individual entrepreneurs can submit their creative projects to the competition, the press service notes.

Financial “corridors” for new projects have been increased: starting with the first grant competition in 2025, the amounts for which creative teams can apply will change. There are categories of projects up to 700 thousand rubles, from 700 thousand rubles to 7 million rubles, from 7 million rubles to 20 million rubles and over 20 million rubles.

“We hope that such changes will allow us to tackle the implementation of larger-scale projects, to consider in detail the salary fund of team members, and to expand the geography of projects and scale them,” RIA Novosti quotes PFKI CEO Roman Karmanov as saying.

The contest projects are divided into nine thematic areas: “Nation of Creators”, “The Great Russian Word”, “I Am Proud”, “Place of Power”, “Cultural Code”, “Young Leaders”, “History of the Country: A History of Overcoming and Victory”, “Multinational Peoples” and “We Are Together”. They are committed to integrating the new Russian regions into the historical and cultural life of the country.
