– The contest gave young people from the Urals an opportunity to show their creative, scientific and research potential and, of course, translate ideas into real projects necessary for the economy, industry, of course, the social sphere, – emphasized the Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuyvashev.
Traditionally, the ten best projects were presented in the final of the competition. Likewise: in the field of industrial technology and in the social sphere. Students and graduate students from leading Ural universities presented a variety of projects: from new designer medical instruments and air filters to an innovative navigation system for people with disabilities.
In the nomination “Technological Innovations” the project of a student of the Ural Federal University (UrFU) Ekaterina Borisova was recognized as the best. Borisova’s team worked on and tested a very relevant product for the current Ural summer – a new type of sun protection system – a tinted film on glass, which is regulated by electricity. Ural students patented the technology.
The winning project in the “Social Sphere” nomination was the development of a team from the Ural Pedagogical University, which was presented by Diana Gilmutdinova. The developers proposed the project “Digital Comfort for Children and Parents.”
The winners of the “Techno-Slavery Minute” will be paid by EVRAZ in the country’s business schools. The company is confident in the effectiveness of the competition and the prospects of the ideas, so it suggests that other companies take a closer look and actively participate in the project.
– All the projects of the finalists of the contest are of an applied nature, which means that they will be guaranteed to benefit people in the future. The desire to create is in line with the principles of EVRAZ, which is why the company annually acts as a partner of the “Technology Minute” and supports talented young people. Such young people are the future, – said Maria Dronova, Director of Government Relations and Charitable Activities of EVRAZ.
