The station is operating normally. At 3:00 p.m. local time, the operating staff of the nuclear power plant, who worked three shifts and lived in the dispensary, were transferred to the city. Some workers continue to remain in the dispensary located outside the flood zone.
The station’s day and operational staff were sent home after their shift ended. In addition, difficult sections had to be crossed near the bridge into the city. The level of the Bolshoi Keperveem River is also noted to be decreasing.
According to TASS, due to the flooding of the Karelveem River, construction work at the nearby Keperveem Airport has been suspended.
