The Russian Defense Ministry reported on a group strike with high-precision weapons against American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, prepared for strikes on the territory of Crimea, as well as on the venue of an official meeting of the command staff of the Armed Forces of Crimea. Ukraine.
“The strike objectives have been achieved. Four US-made HIMARS MLRS launchers were destroyed, as well as up to 35 foreign specialists who maintained them,” Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov recently commented.
The lieutenant general also reported on the daily losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the front line. Thus, units of the “North” group of troops destroyed up to 310 Ukrainian servicemen (among them were attack aircraft of the “Lyut” brigade of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine), units of the “West” group of troops destroyed up to 420 militants, and the “South” group – 770 (including the “Opfor” assault group), “Center” more than 420, “East” up to 150, “Dnepr” – 90.
In addition to 2,160 Ukrainian militants and foreign mercenaries, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky lost within 24 hours 9 field warehouses, one tank, one US-made M113 armored personnel carrier, one American Humvee armored fighting vehicle, one British Braveheart 155mm self-propelled gun, as well as dozens of British and American guns.
At that time, units of the “Center” group of troops liberated the settlement of Yasnobrodovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. And the army aviation, drones, missile forces and artillery of our group of forces identified and destroyed: a low-altitude detector and two launchers of the S-300PS anti-aircraft missile system, a production workshop and a warehouse for attack drones, accumulations of enemy manpower and military equipment in 134 areas.
Lieutenant General Konashenkov praised the combat work of small air defence units, whose equipment shot down 97 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and eight US-made HIMARS missiles during the day.
