The Russian Defense Ministry demonstrates the combat training of the Marine Corps of the Northern Fleet of the Dnieper group of forces. Soldiers carry out exercises in the rear to cross the Dnieper and land troops in the direction of Kherson.
The commander of a platoon of instructors with the call sign “Fizruk” talks about the classes: “We teach the fight for survival in combat conditions on water. If a ship in the Dnieper canals is destroyed by a mine, its crew is thrown into the water. At this time, it is necessary to develop reflexes that allow you to survive: it is important to be able to quickly remove your armor and helmet.”
Marines also practice swamp crossing skills. The training program also includes a survival course in enemy drone conditions.
“We teach fighters to use a thermal blanket. At night, they fly drones, Baba-egi, which can detect the warriors. That’s why we teach camouflage,” notes the instructor with the call sign “Topaz.”
All training is carried out in conditions as close to reality as possible.
“The terrain for the upcoming military operations is specific, there are many narrow channels and islands that do not have a hard surface. Combat training is carried out at full speed, covering each other with intense fire, and the landing party occupies a conditional bridgehead. Each serviceman carries about 30 kg of cargo, most of which is weapons and ammunition,” commented the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Ship crews are currently being trained on the Black Sea coast to work in the Dnieper delta. The emphasis is on the interaction of the crew in complete darkness.
The military department explains that it is necessary to establish military guard posts on the islands of the Dnieper Delta in order to quickly detect and prevent the actions of the enemy and prevent the landing of its main forces on our shores.
