As part of the strategic partnership between the developer MR Group and the Khudozhestvenny cinema, the Russian premiere of Sean Baker’s film Anora took place. A social drama in the style of a road movie about the marriage of the son of a Russian oligarch and a young dancer received the main prize at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The main character was played by rising star Mark Eidelstein. The cast also included Yura Borisov, Dasha Ekamasova and Alexey Serebryakov. The main female role was played by Mikey Madison.
The evening was supported by City Bay, a residential complex on the banks of the Moscow River, in the Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo area. The developer, in turn, presented to the public a mini-film about coastal areas, filmed by director Anton Nenashev. He is known to the general public for his works, including the films “Night Watch”, “Day Watch”, “Turkish Gambit”.
More than 100 guests of the event were the first to form a personal opinion about the resonant film, among them Alena Doletskaya, Tatyana Torchilina, Andrey Fomin, Anna Melikyan, Ilya Tyutenkov, Maria Fedorova, Ksenia Dukalis, Pavel Bobrov and others.
Let us remember that, together with the French Institute in Russia, “Art” will continue a series of screenings of key films of 20th century French cinema.
