Information about the renewal of the series appeared a few days before the end of the release of the second season; the final episodes will be released on June 30.
The plot is based on the novel of the same name by the American writer Anne Rice. The vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac tells the journalist Daniel Molloy how Lestat de Lioncourt turned him into a vampire and what the consequences of this treatment were. In the new season, Lestat expresses his discontent with her own interpretation of him in the book Interview with the Vampire and sets out to tell his story.
