According to lifeguards, a northeast wind prevails on the peninsula with a speed of 20 meters per second. Sometimes the gusts reach 25 meters.
“The height of the waves in some areas reaches up to three meters,” the message says.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations appealed to the population to refrain from going to the sea and inland waters. Also, stay away from embankments, breakwaters and docks.

The disaster caused enormous damage to coastal infrastructure, with embankments and bank protection structures broken and tiles torn off. Losses from the “storm of the century” were estimated at 68 billion rubles.
The consequences of the rampant disaster have not yet been eliminated.
