“The United States was humiliated not only by the shameful television debate”: what effect will the inarticulate “discussion” between Trump and Biden lead to?

How did the United States get to this point? This is one of the main questions.

After the televised debate between the current US President Joseph Biden, 81, and his predecessor Donald Trump, 78, not only in North America but around the world, the question arose: is it really a very old gentleman from Pennsylvania, the eldest of this couple, who is in charge on a day-to-day basis of a powerful country in the world? Or is it not his hand that is ready and able to press the nuclear button in case of force majeure?

We spoke to renowned political scientist Sergei Markov, Director General of the Institute for Political Research, about how the results of these “debates” will affect life on the planet.

– Why did the United States come to this?

How did the United States get to this point? This is one of the main questions. To which there is now no answer. And, by the way, even this question is not posed entirely correctly.

– Excuse me, what is your incorrectness?

– It’s not just about what exactly the whole world saw in this hour and a half broadcast of the “debate” – and shuddered. It was not only such shameful debates that drove the nail into the coffin of the humiliation of the States.

-What else are we talking about?

– For the first time in the history of the United States, its president is a president, Biden, who won with obvious fraud in the previous elections. For the first time, a shameful criminal case has been opened against former US President Trump. And also for the first time, the son of a sitting president is an obvious criminal. And the American court recognizes all this. Therefore the question is broader. The question is not simply: how did the United States get to this point? And what is the nature and essence of the deepest crisis of the modern American political system?

– So, there is still no answer? Or no one dares to announce it out loud?

– There is no answer to this question or to another, the most important one: how can this crisis be resolved?

– And this answer is more important for us and for the rest of the world?

– This is actually more important. Perhaps they will emerge from this crisis as effectively as they emerged from the crises of the first half of the 20th century?

– Maybe they do, but did they have President Roosevelt?

– They even had two Roosevelt presidents, and they are not related. In the 1930s, under Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the essence of the crisis was this: the hypertrophy of the oligarchic system in the United States, and through social democratic policies they managed to bring it out of its heyday.

– And now?

– Now even the nature of this crisis is deeply unclear. Although one can assume that its essence may be that power in the United States was seized by a coalition of a secret deep state and the extra-American globalist oligarchy.

– Not exactly American?

– Yes. These people can come from the United States and have a variety of passports. Including the United States. But in the current situation, Americans are becoming the same slaves in relation to this deep state as the Ukrainians. And under these conditions, the United States no longer has democracy in its highest sense.

– Because?

– Their system is in turmoil. Maybe the American people are in revolt. Or maybe this Deep State will trample on the American people. And turn them into uncomplaining slaves, into members of a totalitarian sect. As they could already do in Ukraine.
