The goal of the work is to reduce nuclear risks in Ukraine and ensure the safe operation of nuclear power plants that remain under Ukrainian control, Khruby emphasized.
Zaporozhye NPP Communications Director Evgenia Yashina told TASS on Wednesday that experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency were informed about the latest attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the Zaporozhye NPP and Energodar. The attack was carried out with a kamikaze drone on May 22. In total, in the last two days, Energodar was attacked several times.
Energodar’s ZNPP has six power units with a total capacity of 6 GW and is considered the largest nuclear power plant in Europe.
