Rosie, the tortoiseshell cat from Norwich, was everyone’s favorite. The publication notes that owner Lila Brissett, 73, lived with Rosie for nearly half her life, having adopted the kitten from a shelter in the 1990s.
Rosie was the unofficial holder of the title of “world’s oldest cat.”
Guinness World Records representatives invited the owner to apply for an official title for the cat in 2023, but the woman did not do so.
